I found the XIII movie DVD at my public library yesterday and brought it home. Haven't had the time to watch yet. Anyone heard of this movie? It has Val Kilmer and Stephen Dorff (from Blade) in it.

There are changes in this TV Series.The President of U.S of A, Wally Sheridan becomes Sally Sheridan, Their first female president, etc. TCU Doesn't wish to play Spoilsport here by giving other info related to XIII TV Series.
Aged & Visibly tired Val Kilmer is playing the role of Mangoose and he does a terrific job, to the best of his energy levels. Each one of the episodes has a run-time of 86 Minutes.
The first part is titled similar to the first volume of XIII. i.e The Day of the Black Sun. However, the second part is changed to All the tears of Hell.
Even though, it is no match for the story, the crew has tried to do justice to the limited budget they had. At best, that's the brightest thing that can be said about this films.

சாரா பெர்ன்ஹாட் கதையை படிக்க ஆவலுடன் காத்திருக்கிறேன். லக்கி லுக்கின் டாப் கதைகளில் அதுவும் ஒன்று. ஆனால், வழமை போல அதனை ஆங்கிலத்தில் வெளியிட்ட மாமேதைகள் அதனை மொக்கை ஆக்கி விட்டனர்.
காமிக்ஸ் கிளாசிக்சில் மறுபடியும் ஜானி நீரோ கதையை காண்பதில் உண்மையிலேயே மகிழ்ச்சி. ஆனால். இந்த கதை ஏற்கனவே கிளாசிக்ஸ் தொடரில் வந்துவிட்டது.
இதுவரை வராத கதையாகிய ஜானி இன் லண்டன் போன்ற கதைகளை வெளியிட்டு இருக்கலாம்.

Actually "ஜானி இன் லண்டன்" has also already come out in comics classics.
So far "uraipani marmam", "Nayagaravil Mayavi" & "beirutil johnny", 'vaanveli kollaiyar' etc. haven't come out yet.
But I would welcome "kolaikara kalaignan" in a large original size as a single book again. In fact I would welcome all the classics issues again if they come out in a large size like "kollaikara pisasu". I have bought all the classics issues except the 1st issue, but I would not mind buying them again if they come out in a bigger size.
Lots of people including myself missed "Pathazha Nagaram", which was the first classics issue. I wish Mr. Vijayan would reissue that story again. Does he read these comments?

அதைப்போலவே, இந்த இதழின் அட்டைப்படங்கள் ஒரிஜினல் அட்டைப்படங்கலாக இருப்பதும், வான்சின் கையொப்பம் இருப்பதும் வரவேற்க்கதக்க மாற்றங்கள்.

Yes, i have seen this and have the dvd's with me. better not to watch them at all. King viswa is quite polished in his words while describing this films.
AM Not. they are tiresome to watch. val kilmer is aged more than that of the mangoose, who was supposed to be thinner. stephen doroff who played the villai in tha blade 1, doesn't do anything special in this role.

hi friends am new to this blog....but its fantastic to c comic fans here....i got my rathapadalam book yesterday....858 pages...completed 600 pages..thought to finish ...but i had exams today...so thought to study somewat...am reading now..wil complete today...wil post my comment then.....see u soon friends....

they were so happy to see that big book and it was weighing close to one KG.
I have read only 4 parts. the translation and page setting is completely new from that of the old issues.
and this time, the dialogues are very emotional and sentimental. example: the dialogues when dr martha was dying.
